Water Safety Training in Folsom, PA and Across the Region

Drowning is fast, silent, and often preventable. The people closest to the water, from lifeguards to parents, are the ones who make the difference. Tri-State Training and Safety Consulting teaches aquatic staff, camps, families, and community groups how to prevent water emergencies and respond when seconds count. We deliver water safety training at our centers and on-site across the region and nationwide.

WATER SAFETY TRAINING

Water Safety Training for Staff and Families

Our headquarters is located at 228 Ridley Ave in Folsom, PA. We offer training at each of our centers and travel to pools, camps, and facilities across the region and nationwide. Our instructors bring real emergency-response experience, so participants learn practical skills from people who have handled real situations.

This training works for two groups. Aquatic professionals learn the rescue and response skills their role demands, while parents, caregivers, and community members learn how to keep the people they love safe around water. No swimming expertise is required to take part.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long is the water safety training?

Most sessions run approximately two to three hours, depending on group size and whether CPR and AED practice is included. We can confirm an exact length based on the training you choose and the size of your group.

  • Do I need to be a strong swimmer to take this class?

No. Much of water safety is about prevention and non-swimming rescues such as reaching and throwing assists. We tailor the session to your group, whether they are trained lifeguards or parents who want to keep their kids safe.

  • Is this training right for parents and families?

Absolutely. We regularly train parents, caregivers, and community groups on drowning prevention, supervision, and how to respond to a water emergency at home or on vacation. No professional background is needed.

  • Can you train my staff or group at our pool or facility?

Yes. On-site training is the most effective way we deliver this course, since your team practices in the same environment they work in. Give us a group size and location, and we schedule instruction that fits your operation.

  • Does this course include CPR?

CPR and AED skills for aquatic emergencies are built into the training, since a water rescue often leads directly into resuscitation. If you need a standalone certification, ask us and we can pair this with one of our CPR courses.
