What is instructor alignment?
Instructors generally have to be aligned with a training site in order to issue certification cards. Alignment means your teaching operates under our training site, so you can certify students without setting up and maintaining a training site of your own.
Do I need to already be a certified instructor?
Yes, alignment is for instructors who already hold instructor certification. If you are not certified yet, we offer CPR instructor training and can align you once you complete it.
Which certifications can I issue?
Aligned instructors can issue American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Tri-State Training cards. Which one you use depends on your certification and what your students need.
Do I still run my own business?
Yes. You remain independent. You set your rates, choose your clients, and teach on your schedule. Alignment gives you the training site and support behind your business, not control over it.
Do I have to be near one of your locations?
No. We work with aligned instructors around the country. Your classes happen wherever you teach, and the certification processing happens on our end regardless of where you are.
